Properties
Pale yellow or orange crystalline material (granules), non-toxic, with a slight ammonia odor. Melting point above 80°C, specific gravity 1.34-1.40. Soluble in benzene, acetone, and chloroform; insoluble in water, dilute acids, and dilute alkalis. Gradually decomposes when heated above 60°C.
Application
A delayed-action vulcanization accelerator with low activity, high retardation, short vulcanization time, and excellent anti-scorching performance. Safe to process, easy to disperse, no blooming, and slight discoloration. Suitable for natural rubber and synthetic rubber. Mainly used in manufacturing tires, rubber hoses, rubber shoes, conveyor belts, and other industrial rubber products.
