Properties
White powder (granule). The density is 1.24. Soluble in CS2. benzene, chloroform, alcohol, diethyl ether,insoluble in water and low concentration alkali. Good storage stability
Application
This chemical is used in natural rubber (NR), isoprene rubber (IR), butadiene rubber (BR), styrene-butadiene rubber (SBR), nitrile rubber (NBR), chloroprene rubber (HR), ethylene-propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM) and their latexes, as a primary or secondary super accelerator. Its performance is similar to that of PZ-type accelerators and EZ-type accelerators, but its promoting effect on dry rubber is weaker than those two types. In natural and synthetic latexes, it can achieve faster vulcanization at normal temperature (low temperature) than PZ-type accelerators and EZ-type accelerators, and has less scorching and frosting phenomena.
